Hear for Less is proud to have just been recognised as a Full-Stack Registered NDIS Provider, making Hear for Less the first independent solution provider in the Hard of Hearing market to do so.
Hear for Less covers all of Australia for
Services and have been working side-by-side with Occupational Therapists, Local Area Coordinators (LAC's), Plan Managers to ensure participants get the solutions and care they require to achieve their daily hearing goals.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will provide approximately 460,000 Australian's, under 65 years of age who have a permanent and significant disability, the reasonable and necessary support to achieve their goals and live a normal life.
The NDIS relies on approved Registered NDIS Providers, such as Hear for Less, to assist NDIS participants in achieving their goals. Once a participant has been approved Hear for Less can work with these participants to furnish a solution within their hearing needs.
In terms of the Government Health Reforms, a number of current disability support programmes will move (in-part or in whole) across to the NDIS. From a Hearing perspective, only approved participants who meet certain requirements will be eligible to become an NDIS participant.
