MyPhonak, stylised as myPHONAK, is the smartphone app that connects to Phonak hearing aids. This private online portal allows you to store and access information about your hearing aids, and share it with your registered hearing care professional (HCP) or audiologist.

Phonak hearing aids use Bluetooth 4.2 technology to connect to compatible mobile devices, allowing you to register your Phonak products in the app on your phone. After installing myPhonak on your iPhone or Android and setting it up, you’ll be able to:

• View hearing aid configurations
• Remotely adjust volume and other settings
• Check the battery charge level
• Locate the hearing aids if you lose them
• Contact your registered HCP
• Document experiences in a Hearing Diary
• Access additional online support

Being able to personalise Phonak hearing aid settings in real-time according to your individual needs allows you to be more active in your hearing journey. If you register your HCP and allow them to access your profile, they can gain valuable insight on how to support you.

The Bluetooth connectivity of Phonak hearing aids is best suited to pairing with a smartphone, where you can download the myPhonak app to benefit from its remote control features. Your mobile phone generally needs to be within 5m of your hearing aids to maintain the connection.

You must pair both Phonak hearing aids as one system to the same Bluetooth-enabled device, as you can’t connect them separately to different devices. You’ll know that the connection is successful when you hear a beeping signal and see the status in the Bluetooth device menu on your phone.
