Everything you need to know about Eufy cameras

Eufy aims to simplify smart home technology and security.  Each device isn’t designed to cause a fuss, but to simply enhance your life and give you the peace of mind that your home and everything in it, is safe at all times.

We stock a wide range of Eufy cameras here at Hear For Less - here are your questions answered.

Are Eufy cameras easy to use?

With simplicity being at the forefront of the company's image, you can expect a fuss-free experience when you purchase a Eufy camera

Not only is the initial set-up as easy as 1,2,3, but you can also quickly control and monitor each camera using the compatible app. With specialist AI technology, you will be alerted when a human face or body is detected near your property.

You can also use this to change the way your cameras film - in colour, black and white, or infrared.

Being completely wireless, you don’t have to worry about complicated hard wiring when the battery needs to be charged, or when setting up another camera in or around your home.

How long will my Eufy camera last?

Eufy cameras are built to last.

While they look good and are an attractive addition to your home, they are also crafted from highly durable materials that stand the test of time. We even offer silicone covers to make them completely water-resistant - further increasing their lifespan.

In terms of battery life, you will have a full 180 (2K) or 365 (1080p) days of recording capability before you have to charge them, depending on the model chosen. Simply remove the battery and charge - no need to dismantle the whole camera - and await the alert that your Eufy camera battery is fully charged (this will take between 4 and 8 hours).

Can I install a Eufy camera myself?

Of course!

You can easily install your new Eufy camera indoors or outdoors for customisable safety.

The only factor you need to be aware of is the internet connection. The cameras must be set up using a wireless (2.4GHz Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet cable) connection, with the base station being connected to the router directly.

Eufy cameras can be used in and out of the house but for the best connection, they must be within 20-30 feet of the central system.

How can Eufy cameras increase security?

Having security cameras installed in and around your home not only increases levels of safety but also gives you the peace of mind that you can check in on your home whenever you want!

Measures like this act as a deterrent to burgers, therefore reducing the likelihood that a break-in will occur and keeping you worry-free whether you’re in or out.

Combined with quality locks and alarms, you can relax knowing your home is safe with Eufy cameras
