When purchasing an Assisted Listening Device (ALD) you will need to check you television to ensure one will match the other to give you the best quality sound available.
With some televisions, there is no analogue (RCA) output on the TV. This converter allows you to take the sound source from the optical output on the television and convert it to an RCA output.
Then you simply connect your headphones to the converter to enjoy the sounds of your television, without having to replace your TV or headphones.
