What is a TV Listener?

A TV Listener is a simple plug and play, non-medical hearing device worn by an individual who's hearing is not what it used to be, so they can hear the TV clearly.

Is This Different From A TV Streamer?

No, TV Listener and TV Streamer are exactly the same technology, just a different name. These solutions help the user to hear the TV more clearly.

How does it work?

The TV Listener transmitting device plugs directly into your TV and sends the TV sounds wirelessly in real-time to your receiver, which the user wears. The user can control the volume of the TV Listener sound on the receiver device. 

How loud can the receiver volume go?

Whilst the Earis Under-Chin TV Listener Receiver volume can reach as high as 122dB, however, using the Neckloop will only allow the sound to go as high as what your hearing aids can handle. You can adjust the hearing profiles to be balanced or support the 'non-good ear' by increasing the volume on that side. You have total control.

Will this affect the TV volume for everyone else?

No, TV Listeners are a split system, meaning the user only controls the volume level of their TV Listener device. Others in the same room can set the TV to a volume that is comfortable for them.

How long does that battery last for?

Up to 9 hours of constant streaming. Perfect for watching back-to-back movies or binge-watching Netflix. You can, of course, purchase additional AP-18A, which is a 3.7V 400mAh rechargeable Lithium-polymer battery (available as accessories). Each battery takes around 2 hours to charge.
