The Brooks EIB171RFAU Xenon Strobe Light Alert is an essential safety device for deaf or hard of hearing Australians requiring clear visual warnings of smoke and fire alarms. Featuring a powerful Xenon strobe light that flashes at 1.5 Hertz and can be seen up to 30 metres away, it ensures you never miss an emergency alert regardless of lighting conditions.
With wireless RadioLINK™ interconnect technology, it seamlessly pairs with up to 12 other Brooks SmartLINK alarms, allowing whole-home alert synchronisation for maximum safety. Mains powered with a rechargeable battery backup, it continues operating during power failures to keep you protected at all times. Its easy plug-and-play surface or wall mounting and unique House-Coding system prevent interference and simplify installation. Fully compliant with AS3786:2014 and approved for NDIS use, the EIB171RFAU is a reliable and vital addition to any safety plan.

The EIB171RFAU is designed to be powered from a permanent mains power supply. It also contains a rechargeable battery that provides back-up power in the event of mains failure.
Please make sure that you have a dedicated wall socket specifically for this unit to be permanently plugged in. If you do not, then we highly recommend having our qualified electricians install one for you.

For safety reasons and the integrity of this strobe light to work when urgently required, this unit should always be plugged directly into a wall socket and not plugged into any kind of powerboard.
